To celebrate World Puppet Day on March 21, UNIMA International has organised a gigantic virtual parade of puppets.

This project consists of creating a video involving children, educators and puppeteers in schools, recreation centres, community centres, arts centres or theatres.

The creation process is simple. Firstly, you make a puppet; this year, the puppet should be a cat. On the UNIMA website you can find several manuals to assist with the making.

Once you have made the puppet, you will need to film a procession with this puppet, lasting no more than 30 seconds, and send it to UNIMA (web@unima.org) stating clearly the name and the country of the centre, as well as contact details for the sender (name and email). You will find instructions about sending the video at the same website address.

Important: the deadline to send the files is February 15, 2019.

The videos sent will be linked together in a video that will be broadcast on World Puppet Day through different channels and UNIMA social networks. Will you help us make this project even bigger?
