The Professional Training Commission of UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette) is pleased to present its new project:

Focus on training in the arts of puppetrywhich consists of:

• Meetings to discover the main approaches to teaching the arts of puppetry in the world.
• Meetings with the heads of training institutions at the forefront of professional puppetry education.

This is a series of bimonthly meetings focusing, initially, on already structured institutions offering long-term training to puppeteers.

Then, with institutions that plan to create study programs, as well as with organizations that offer short-term training.

Part 1 – Presentation of the institution:

-His teaching philosophy

-Learning methods

-Admission criteria

-Specializations and degrees offered.

Part 2 – Questions and answers on course orientation and content.

This project is aimed at anyone interested in studying the arts of puppetry, as well as teachers, trainers, scholars, postgraduate students and artists who wish to deepen their knowledge in this field.
