Within the 18th Theater Festival of Havana, UNIMA Cuba has organized a conference around the puppeteer theater.

From 09:30 to 10:45, and under the title of Tributes, concepts, techniques and artistic direction in the puppeteer theater, a round table will be held, led by the playwright and critic Norge Espinosa, and will feature the participation of the directors of the groups participating in the official national and international festival show (Pablo Cueto, Teatro Tinglado, Mexico; Javier Aranda, Spain; Malawy Capote, Guiñol Los cuenteros, San Antonio de Los Baños; Rubén Darío Salazar, Teatro de Las Estaciones, Matanzas; and Ernesto Parra, Teatro Tuyo), among other guests.

From 10:45 to 11:15, there will be a presentation of theater books for children and puppets of the publishing houses Matanzas y Tablas-Alarcos, by the theologian Yudd Favier.

And after a break, from 11:30 will be released the documentary Armando Morales: always in progress, made by the journalist Daniel González Cabello, from the Cultural News of Cuba, which is based on the last interview made to the master puppeteer, deceased in January of this year. The presentation will be provided by the actor and director Rubén Darío Salazar.
