The Accademia Teatro Dimitri, a university specialized in physical theater, will inaugurate a new two-year master’s degree in the next academic year, focused on the field of theater of materials, objects and puppets.

During the two years of study, students will be guided through a complex and highly practical learning process about the principles and possibilities of modern material, the theater of objects and puppets. It will be done both from the scenic point of view, as well as from the scenography. It also intends to unleash creativity, in levels of dramaturgy and direction, and all this will be reflected in the creations of the students.

The master, directed by Pavel Štourač, will have permanent and external professors recruited from specialized professional artists from all over Europe.

It also has scholarships and study grants to support the studies in Switzerland.

Due to the pandemia, Accademia Teatro Dimitri prolonges the deadline for applying for the new master program in Material, object and puppet theatre to 2nd October 2020.

The course will begin in November 2020.
