At the workbench with Erika Faria de Oliveira

A workshop organized in prefiguration of the World Puppetry Day 2022.

Poseidon is in pain, he has lost the students in his class! Erika Faria de Oliveira’s mission is to get his students back to him in the same shape for the next World Puppetry Day. Taking advantage of the February holidays, she is going to work from Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th February at the MCL Ma Bohème, in Charleville-Mézières, to reconstitute the whole class: Hector the Goldfish, Aline the Octopus, Micky the Hypocampus, Anna the Sea Bream, Dodo the Salmon, Anibal the Squid… Come and join her to make all these puppets out of recycled materials and give joy back to Poseidon!

You can come for 1 day, 2 days or all 3, you just have to register. Bring your plastic packaging to be transformed. The student puppet-fish will then be exhibited in different places in the Ardennes for the World Puppetry Day on March 21, 2022, which will be held from Saturday, March 19, over several days in many places.

Professional puppeteer, Erika Faria de Oliveira is a member of the collective “Le projet D”. She is a former student of ESNAM (8th promotion).
