Our dear friend and colleague Fabrice Guilliot retired on the 30th November 2017. Fabrice has been associated with UNIMA in more ways than just an employee at the secretariat office in Charleville. He has been above all an ardent fan and lover of puppetry, always there to assist puppeteers and UNIMA members from all over the world.

Here I would like from all of us to say a very big thank you. It has been an honour to know you and work with you Fabrice, we wish you all the very best now as a UNIMA member and close associate.

In his own words, the day he left.

” 16 years ago, when Miguel Arreche gave me the keys of the office, he made it because I was a UNIMA member. When, at beginning of 2011, I started to work for our organisation, I did it as an UNIMA member.

For about 7 years, I have been serving our organisation because, before all, I still remain an UNIMA member. Today, I am leaving a post of employee, giving back, not without some nostalgia, keys that I received, many years ago, in full confidence.

But, don’t be worried, meanwhile UNIMA is losing a simple employee, it is regaining a member who could help our organisation, faithful to the main/first rule of the Union Internationale de la Marionnette, ​saying​ “Are you loving​puppetry​?, Are you ready to work for its development ?; if yes, what may be your skills, diplomas, the help you could bring, however modest; we would be glad accepting you within our group”.

I kindly ask you to bring all the available help, support to the new assistant in the UNIMA Secretariat Office, insured that she would be glad to directly receive it from you, people entrusted to lead in​the​right way UNIMA. “
