UNIMA China and China Puppetry and Shadow Arts Association called on membership units in 26 provinces, cities and autonomous regions to organize a grand celebration show for the World Puppetry Day on March 21 in each region.

Puppetry troupes and companies in Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Shanghai, Yangzhou, Tianjin, Nanchong, Chengdu, Zizhong, Haining, Harbin, Wuhan, Shaanxi, Tangshan, Tai’an and such other places have presented puppet shows of different forms, representations, knowledge delivery, and interactivities in theaters, plazas, campuses, communities and schools.

These actions have offered a real visibility for puppetry art and also for UNIMA in China.
