Dear friends!

We are pleased to announce that the XXV International Puppet Theatre Festival “Theatre in a Suitcase” is looking forward to welcoming you once again to Viljandi, Estonia, 19-22 May 2022. We sincerely hope that the pandemic will die down and that we will be able to celebrate the 25th anniversary of our festival with you and audiences from all over the world.

The aim of our festival is to contribute to the appreciation and survival of puppetry. This is why we have focused our programme on workshops and discussion groups based on productions. The performances will take place indoors, as well as outdoors in different locations around the city. We invite you to participate and signal your interest in performing at the festival until 1 February 2022.
