Dear colleagues, Teacher Education Faculty of the University of Belgrade, in collaboration with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, University of Banja Luka and Philips University, organizes an international scientific conference entitled „Application of Puppetry in Cherishing National Identity”. The conference will be held on 9. – 10.  December, 2022. As we appreciate your results in the scientific areas related to the conference theme, we invite you to participate in our conference with your presentation. The topic of the conference „Application of Puppetry in Cherishing National Identity” would be treated under following aspects: • History and theory of puppetry • Contemporary puppet theatre • Puppetry in education (preschool education, primary and secondary school, educational faculties, faculties for professional education of puppet artists) • Theories of identity and globalization. The application for conference participation, presentation title, and an abstract in English should be submitted by 15. September, 2022 to the following e-mail address: puppetry.conference@uf.edu.rs Note: The abstract in English must be professionally translated/proofread prior to submission. By sending in the speaker proposal form, the author guarantees for the abstract language quality. Your abstract should contain a brief description of the presentation content: the context and relevance of the topic, the goal of the research, the methods, the most relevant findings and conclusions. The abstracts should not exceed 1400 characters (with spaces). Conference languages: Serbian and English. Deadline for notification of abstract acceptance: 3. October, 2022. The deadline for the full paper submission is 1 December, 2022. Following a double-blind peer review, the selected papers will be published in the Book of Proceedings. The conference fee is 70€ (+20 € for dinner) for participants from abroad. The conference fee covers the conference organisation expenses, conference materials for participants and the expenses of publishing the Book of Proceedings. Payment instructions are available on 5. October, 2022. The deadline for the conference fee payment is 31 October, 2022.
