To all UNIMA National Centres and Councillors,
I kindly request all of you to make propositions of nomination for the “Award for Encouragement”, Women’s Commission award, by filling and sending of the online form.

The Commission would like to award living woman puppetry artists or working in fields associated with puppetry (eg therapy/community cultural development), using puppetry, or related forms (eg, coordinator, organiser) for the betterment of society, who has demonstrated dedication and excellence, but who has not been receiving the recognition that her work is deserving.
In 2012, the laureates were:
– Càrdenas Colque (Títeres Elwaky – Bolivia)
– Noriko Nishimoto (freelance theatre director – Australia)
The Deadline to send nominations is: June 15th, 2015
