Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you that we are opening a first Museum of Puppetry in Slovenia.
This permanent exhibition of the Lutkovno gledališče Ljubljana (Ljubljana Puppet Theatre), situated at the Ljubljana Castle, will be featuring the milestones of the Slovenian puppetry history. Thus presented to the visitors in the museum will be a variety of puppet heroes and puppet techniques; and after visiting the exhibition, they will be able to try their hand at puppetry-skills as well. The Puppet Museum presents a part of the project titled as “Ljubljana Castle – Museum and Presentation of Puppets”, which is funded by the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia, within the co-financing of public cultural infrastructure projects of the European Regional Development Fund.
The opening of the museum will take place on Tuesday, 26^th May 2015 at 8.30 pm, at the Ljubljana Castle.
