The city theater Zorin dom, in cooperation with the city of Karlovac and Karlovac County, is organizing the 3rd International Puppet Theater Festival Karlovac from 21st to 25th of May 2024 and we are pleased to announce the call for participation.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
The vision of the festival is based on strengthening the availability of the theater program to different social and age groups. Through a rich program, it promotes and supports the creativity of authors who, through their activities, are open to new theatrical styles and contribute to the development of puppetry.
The festival represents a combination of culture and education and offers various puppet performances and events at several locations in the city of Karlovac. The activities and events held during the festival give the audience the opportunity to see and feel puppetry show in a new way.
In addition to puppet shows, the festival offers various exhibitions, seminars, round tables, and workshops.
HOW TO REGISTER:
We invite all those who are interested to apply for participation in the festival. Please do read the instructions carefully.
We ask all those interested to send us the application form with the following attachments via email to the address input.fest.karlovac@gmail.com:
- short text about the theater, group, or biography (up to 900 characters)
- short description of the show, performance, exhibition, seminar (up to 900 characters)
- names of authors, performers and other collaborators and participants of the play
- five photos
- link to the play/performance or trailer (if applicable)
The application deadline is December 15, 2023.
