The first global conference of puppet theatre festival directors took place in Bochum – Germany in 2003 and a second one was held in 2007, gathering more around 40 participants.
The third Symposium, always in the framework of FIDENA, was the opportunity of a conference on 19th and 20th May 2014 which the them was “Cultural Education vs. Artistic Freedom – International Festivals in times of Crisis“.
