Festival Valise, Lomza, Poland, 2020
The 33rd International Theatrical Festival ‘Valise’, will take place from June 3 to June 6, 2020 in The Puppet and Actor Theatre in Lomza, Poland.
Festival Valise has been held annually since 1987 and has so far hosted more than 350 theaters from over 50 countries and with them dozens of guests from all over the world and thousands of spectators.
The form of the Festival is unchanged from its beginnings. The jurors assess performances with a scenography that can be put into a single valise, like in the title of the Festival.
The Festival is an unusual collage of repertoire – from the classics – to innovative realizations and even experimenting. In additon to plays taking part in the contest, performed on two stages, during the Festival there will be other accompanying events: street performances, recitals, poetry evenings, meetings behind the scenes, and discussions with the creators and people involved in the Theatre.

I´m about to submit my application form, what I expected was an online process because of the mention of “link video” and/or “other support documentation (via email)”. But at the end of the application form, there is a physical address to post the material. Can you please clarify if the applications will be accepted by physical mail only? Thinking about the 31st deadline, I´m afraid I would lose this great opportunity due this misunderstanding.
