From 16 to 20 September 2024, puppetry artists and performing arts professionals are invited to participate in the intensive vocational training program titled Maquette(s) in Motion, led by renowned director Philippe Rodriguez-Jorda. Hosted at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette in Charleville-Mézières, France, this course is part of the prestigious Temps d’M initiative.
Main objective:
The main objective is to support trainees in their artistic thinking and respective skills through daily puppet practice in the mornings, and the development of models as a foundation for stage writing and dramaturgical planning in the afternoons. This course focuses on using scale models as essential tools for stage writing and dramaturgical development, specifically tailored for performing arts professionals with puppet show projects in their early stages, at the ideation phase.
