The Museum of Puppet Cultures and Toys, Modrý Kameň Castle, the only one of its kind in Slovakia, commemorates the day devoted to this magical art every year. You can see the permanent exhibition of the puppets free of charge on this day.
In the baroque hall of the manor house, we will reveal other secrets of the puppet theater. In the puppet performance named “Wooden Cow”, the actors of the “The Theater from the little house” will show traditional hand puppets with wooden heads. The performance will be held at 9.00, 10.00 and 11.00 a.m.
Throughout the day, the permanent exhibition will end with a documentary films about puppets and puppets, along with an interviews of the curator of the puppet colletion, Mgr. Z. Kaličiaková.
The event takes place on Thursday 21st March 2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
