An online meeting of students, graduates and academical staff of higher puppetry schools in Ukraine. The main goal of this event is to start a dialogue between Ukrainian and European artists of puppetry art about the future of the puppetry profession in Europe, to give students the opportunity to ask their questions about further creative and organizational steps in this profession. The event is dedicated to the celebration of World Puppeteer Day. This is our attempt, albeit online, to bring together artists who have already established themselves in the profession and those who are just learning it. We believe in an interesting POLYalog, inspiration, experience, and ideas for future joint projects.
The meeting will be joined by the Department of Puppet Theatre Art of the Kyiv Nationa I.K. Karpenko-Karyl University of Theatre, Cinema and Television in Kyiv, and the Department of Acting and Directing of the Animation Theater of the Kharkiv National I. P. Kotlyarevsky University of Arts.
Organized by UNIMA Ukraine in collaboration with the UNIMA Europe Commission, IIM/ESNAM and ESNAM MIENNE (association of graduate students from ESNAM).
