We learned with great sadness the death of Jean-Luc Félix, President of the World Festival of Charleville-Mézières Puppet Theaters. Son of Jacques Felix, he liked to remember that he had grown up in the middle of the puppets of Petits Comédiens de Chiffon. After becoming a sculptor after studying at the Beaux-Arts, he joined the Esnam teaching team in 1987 at the invitation of Margareta Niculescu. He has thus transmitted to several generations of students the technical bases necessary for the construction of puppets, making them share his passion and his discoveries.

We have a thought for the family of Jean-Luc Félix as well as for the director of the festival, Anne-Françoise Cabanis, her board of directors and all her team. We send them our very sincere condolences.
