We are pleased to inform you that the Dramatic Arts Center of Iran will hold the 19th International Puppet Theater Festival, Tehran –Mobarak on October 14th to 22nd, 2022 in Tehran. 

We would highly appreciate it if you could send us the new productions of your Puppet Theater Company. The priority of the festival is to present the use of New Methods in puppet performances, demonstrating creativity and innovation in Puppetry. The performances will consist of two main sections: 1. Indoor 2. Outdoor.

Applications should reach the Secretariat of the Festival by the deadline: 16th August 2022. Workshops and lectures are also welcome.

The Selection Committee will announce the invited International Guest Performances through the Dramatic Arts Center of Iran. Participating groups will be awarded a festival statuette and a plaque of appreciation.

• You are kindly requested to include the following in your submission:

1. The completed Application form;
2. A short biography about the Company;
3. The Director and Author`s CV;
4. A synopsis of the play in English;
5. Cast and production team list (full names please);
6. A video link of your suggested performance, in full version;
7. Some photos of the puppet show.

• The Festival organizers will provide: Full accommodation, hotel rooms,3 meals per day, airport pick up services, local transportation and in some cases by mutual agreements flights expanses.
