Call for International Artists

ICON, IDOLS AND ALLEGED HEROES

The Call for artists for the 7° edition of Anima IF – Festival Internazionale di teatro di figura which will take
place in Cagliari from 24 to 27 October 2024 is officially open.

Anima IF is an adult festival dedicated to Figure Theater and his contaminations, hybridizations and
languages. Icon, idols and alleged heroes is the topic of this edition: an investigation on the human need to sacralize
lives and glorify existences to make them object of worship.

Each artist can propose at most 2 proposal until 30th June 2024.
The application form has to be sent at info@ismascareddas.it with the object: Call Anima IF 2024.

Along with the application form we need the following documents:

• The artists curriculum
• Artistic and Technical Riders
• 3 HD photos of the performance
• Full video (link YouTube or Vimeo)

The artists can also attach to the application further proposals or activities related to the theme of the
festival such as workshops, exhibitions, installations etc.

The artistic direction will operate a selection of the received nominations according to criteria of artistic
value and technical-logistic nature. From 15 July 2024, the selected artists will be contacted to define the
details of the participation, to review the contractual clauses and confirm their presence within the time
required in the communication of successful selection.
