UNIMA-UKRAINE welcomes and invites all the connoisseurs of puppetry art to join the online events offered by Ukrainian  centre.

Since 2011, UNIMA-UKRAINE has hosted the All-Ukrainian annual virtual overview-competition of puppet theaters “Premieres of a Season,” within which all puppet theaters of Ukraine have the opportunity to submit video recordings of performances from the last season and compete for victory in categories such as “Best Performance for Children,” “Best Performance for Teenagers and Adults,” “Best Acting,” “Best Direction,” “Best Scenography,” “Best Dramaturgy,” and others. This year, they have the honor to invite you to the online broadcasts of performances recommended by the “Premieres of a Season” jury for public presentation.

Broadcasts will take place every Saturday and Sunday at 17:30 (Kyiv time) starting from February 3rd. The performances will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of UNIMA-UKRAINE!

4th of February “Khuha, Diudia and Potorotcha” (Transcarpathian Academic Regional Puppet Theater “Bavka”)

10th of February “The Turnip” (Rivne Academic Regional Puppet Theater).

11th of February “Sunset tango” (Lviv Academic Regional Puppet Theater).

17th of February “Mowgli” (Ternopil Academic Regional Theater of Actor and Puppet).

18th of February “Sky Lady (Mary Poppins)” (Kyiv Municipal Academic Puppet Theater).

24th of February “Snowflake for a wolf” (Lviv Municipal Academic Theater of Variety Miniatures “People and Puppets”).
