End-of-Year Giving: Support Puppeteers in Crisis UNIMA's Emergency Aid Program As we approach the final days of 2025, this is a wonderful moment to reflect on the resilience of the global puppetry community—and to make a meaningful difference. UNIMA (Union Internationale de la Marionnette) invites you to join us in solidarity by supporting our Emergency Aid for Puppeteers initiative, a lifeline for artists facing extraordinary hardships. Managed confidentially by the Cooperation Commission and UNIMA staff, the program provides essential aid to puppeteers and members enduring crises such as war, natural disasters, economic difficulties, or serious illness. Funds help cover critical needs like food, medical and hygiene supplies,... It was unthinkable in Swedish theatre at the time to perform to children under the age of five. They didn’t think children so young could understand. Today, theatre is made for babies too. Biennale CINARS 26: Open Call / Canada The Montreal International Performing Arts Conference is a unique opportunity to present your work to programmers from around the world! Submit your application from September 22 to November 24, 2025. As part of its official programming, the CINARS Biennale 2026 will present full-length works (maximum 90 minutes) in dance, theatre, circus, interdisciplinary arts, and puppetry, as well as excerpts (25 minutes) in music.
