The new master programme PuppeTry Erasmus Mundus, delivered by four Central European theatre academies and funded by Erasmus+. The PuppeTry focuses on different artistic and teaching methods of the participating academies. The programme supports students to find their own artistic approach and become versatile artist with international experience.

Programme is taught at four Central European theatre academies: University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest – Hungary, Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava – Slovakia, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague – Czech Republic, The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw Puppet Theatre Art Department, Branch Campus in Bialystok – Poland.

The students will spend one semester at each of the academies. The first semester takes place in Budapest, the second in Prague, the summer course in Bratislava, the third semester in Bialystok. This system allows students to choose one of these academies for the final fourth semester to finish their final graduation work at. The final projects include in addition to the practical project, a written thesis.

The online application is open till January 31st, 2020. Entrance exams will take place in 17th-21th of February 2020, interviews with selected applicants will be hold via Skype. Applicants admitted for the programme will be awarded with scholarship of 35 – 47 000 EUR.
