Introduction
To position UNIMA as a dynamic, inclusive, and strategic global cultural network in the field of puppetry arts through participatory, ethical, and transformative communication.
Objectives
- To strengthen the organization’s internal network and external relations through international cooperation and networking, facilitating communication among professional puppeteers as well as enthusiasts, researchers, historians, and others.
- To enhance the communication capacities of UNIMA commissions through active collaboration and support of project promotion.
- To support National Centres project visibility interesting international scope.
- To celebrate the centenary with a global campaign focused on visibility and participation.
- To increase UNIMA’s presence in media and social networks, thereby expanding the reach of information about its activities.
Programme and Activities
- Redesign the website and propose an interactive platform for members (a private space for resources, forums, projects, and participation).
- Organize existing materials into an open multimedia library (videos, posters, audio recordings, essays, interviews, reviews, archives).
- Support commissions projects to do a historical timeline with photos, audio, and documents.
Centenary support:
- Create a new centenary logo and a storytelling campaign (blog, photos, etc.). #UNIMA100
- Support visibility of communication tools created by Commissions for the centenary such as historical timeline or heritage visibility with photos, audios, documents…
- Develop a global calendar and an interactive map of local and regional centenary celebrations.
- Create a documentary entitled “UNIMA”.
