Fedelis Kyalo is a talented puppeteer, performer, behavior change specialist, playwright, and Artistic Director at Krystal Puppet Theatre. He serves as the Vice President of the UNIMA Africa Commission, Co-director of Puppets254 and Project HAND UP, and is the head puppeteer for Kenya’s popular political satire, The XYZ Show. A senior member of the Kenya Institute of Puppet Theatre (KIPT), Fedelis began his acting career in school before training as a puppeteer in 1995. He expertly blends traditional Kenyan performance with contemporary community-engaged educational theatre. Fedelis co-founded Krystal Puppeteers at the Little Theatre Club in Mombasa, leading a group renowned for using puppetry as an educational tool. They have produced notable works such as Tears by the River, The Last Wildebeest, Gone Fishing, Bonefire, Backstory, Gee-rafe and the Hanging Pot, and A Tale of Freedom.
