The Departmental Archives of the Ardennes preserve the memory and the written heritage of the department of Ardennes. More broadly, they constitute an anchor of puppetry by keeping the historical archives of the institutions structuring this art like those of the International Puppetry Institute, the International Festival of puppet theaters and archives of UNIMA , all produced and preserved in the world capital of puppetry: Charleville-Mézières.
