Every year since 2019, the Zadar Puppet Theater, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, Zadar County, the City of Zadar, the Tourist Board of the City of Zadar and the Croatian Center UNIMA, organizes the Mediterranean Puppet Festival – « Mediteraneo ». It is a festival that brings together the puppet theaters of the Mediterranean countries, and is primarily intended for an adult audience.
