Digital and audiovisual information bank on the puppetry arts
In 2013, on the initiative of UNIMA Secretary General, Jacques Trudeau, and with the partnership of the Spanish company, Etcétera, UNIMA has launched the recording and production of several audiovisual documents in order to create a digital and audiovisual information bank. The project is spread out on four years.
These documents are produced in order to promote the high diversity of the puppetry art and preserve the memory of puppet practices which exist around the world. A number of these traditional forms and practices are in danger or very unknown in their country of origin.
The countries involved in the project are
- France (Charleville-Mézières)
- Italy (Naples)
- Myanmar / Burma
